This young swan, found covered in diesel oil at Blisworth Marina, had to be washed with 2% fairy liquid (only fairy liquid will do) at a constant temperature of 42 degrees until her feathers became waterproof again. Although it wasn't easy, she appeared to enjoy her bath at the new Hydrotherapy unit at St Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital and will be soon released into the Marina again...This pic: Swan bath..JOB REF: 5688 SFE DATE: 03_02_2008.**MUST CREDIT SOLARPIX.COM OR DOUBLE FEE WILL BE CHARGED* *UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THIS IMAGE TO BE REPRODUCED FOR ANY ONLINE EDITION WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION*
