**ALL ROUND PICTURES FROM SOLARPIX.COM**.**WORLDWIDE SYNDICATION RIGHTS**.The QE2 has become the latest victim of Dubai's slowdown. Bought for £50 million by the developers Nakheel, Britain's favourite cruise liner was set to be converted into the emirate's second so-called "seven-star hotel" - the funnel sliced off in favour of a glass penthouse, the interior reworked into spas, restaurants and a three-storey ballroom. But the refurbishment has not started and the ship is crewed not by builders, plumbers and fitters but by engineers and maintenance men with a mission to keep the woodwork polished and the fabric from decaying. The ship stands berthed at Port Rashid, Dubai, UAE. 29 June 2009...This pic: QE2..JOB REF: 9362 DBL DATE: 29_06_2009.**MUST CREDIT SOLARPIX.COM OR DOUBLE FEE WILL BE CHARGED**.**ONLINE USAGE FEE GBP 50.00 PER PICTURE - NOTIFICATION OF USAGE TO PHOTO @ SOLARPIX.COM**.**CALL SOLARPIX : +34 952 811 768 or LOW RATE FROM UK 0844 617 7637**
